Descended from full-sized sledge dogs and still convinced of it. A pom will challenge anything. The coat is enormous relative to the animal and needs real grooming — never shave one, it can grow back wrong. They bark, genuinely a lot, and the trachea is delicate enough that a harness rather than a collar isn't optional.

Pomeranian, tiny, enormous cloud-like double coat, foxy pointed face, small upright ears, permanently alert. Two kilograms with the psychological footprint of something much larger. Has opinions on arrival times, seating arrangements, and who is paying sufficient attention. Currently: not enough.
