The fastest dog alive and also the laziest. Built to chase by sight in short bursts, a greyhound will hit 40mph and then sleep for eighteen hours. They have almost no body fat, so they feel the cold badly and cannot be left on hard floors comfortably. Most retired racers are astonishingly calm, though the prey drive is real and does not train away.
Meet Iggy
Black Greyhound, long narrow elegant face, wide expressive eyes, wild flowing fur around the head, long neck, tongue hanging long. Built to sprint at 45mph. Uses the speed entirely for feelings. Was moved by a parking garage once. Never fully recovered.
